We’re delighted to welcome Joe Torres to the Custom Power team as our new VP of Engineering. Joe is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience across several industries, including Medical, Aerospace & Defense, Nuclear Power, Automated Control Valves and Commercial.

Most recently, Joe spent eight years with Alcon Research Institute (NYSE: ALC), where he directed a multidisciplinary team delivering technical services to R&D sites across the US in the areas of mechanical design, castings, plastics, specialty Engineering, PCB design and layout. He has worked on prototype design and development of sophisticated medical devices before transitioning designs for manufacturing.

Prior to that, Joe spent seven years at Boeing Defense, Space and Security, directing engineers and managing multi-million dollar programs related to spacecraft structures. Before Boeing, Joe was with Swift Engineering for four years, where he contributed to projects for major clients like Panasonic Avionics Corporation and Raytheon Technologies, overseeing large engineering teams and delivering high-quality products efficiently and cost-effectively.
